Visionary Product IK Ratings
The IK rating is an international standard that indicates how resistant a product is to impact. The standard EN 62262 relates to IK ratings, to identify the degree of protection provided by enclosures for electrical equipment against external mechanical impacts. The numbering system used for the measure of IK ratings is numerical with numbering starting at '00' which means the product has no impact protection. The highest rating is 'IK11' which provides an extremely high level of impact protection.
