Can you join multiple Athena battens together when suspended?

While it is possible you connect battens end-to-end using the cable protrusions on the ends of the batten, it would require modification to the end of the batten to join multiple Athenas together and therefore is not recommended. It is, however, possible to abut Athenas together when surface mounted.
