Account Types & Restrictions

Overview

Visionary has one account type and that is a 'trade account' This type of account is generally automatically assigned as a credit account with '20th of the month following' terms. Provided you are up to date with your account and you do not breach any Visionary terms of trade, your account should not become restricted. 

Restrictions

Account restrictions are most commonly applied to accounts that have outstanding overdue invoices. In these cases, your account is suspended and you will not be able to order from Visionary until your account has been settled. It is at Visionary's discretion as to whether you credit account is reactivated, or if your account changes to a 'cash only' basis until credit trust is regained. Cash only accounts are most often applied to trade accounts with frequent overdue accounts.

Infrequently, Visionary restricts or bans accounts that breach our terms of trade. In this case, you will be notified of this restriction and the next steps. 

Credit Terms

Visionary's default account terms for businesses that have been trading for over 2 years is an industry standard '20th of the month following order shipment'. Our credit is applicable to the date the order is shipped, not invoiced.
