IP65 Coating Chips Off?

All Visionary Flex and Flex Pro models have an applied silicon, bonded to the product's circuit board that allows the product to attain an IP rating. Like most silicon products, it is flexible and can be torn or removed through vigorous friction and/or pulling on the flexible surface. Silicon is used to ensure LED diode colour consistency - where resins that are harder and more durable often cause a colour-shifting phenomenon that is undesirable when 'matching' light colours for various products in a room space.
