QT product composition & materials

The QT spotlight is manufactured using 316 marine grade stainless steel for all components including the screws and external peripherals. The only exception is with the spring clips that are manufactured using electroplated steel to ensure they perform correctly as springs. Wing clips are also 316 marine grade stainless steel. 

316 Marine grade stainless steel is suitable for corrosive environments such as salt and around cleaning chemicals. Contact Visionary for specific advice on the chemicals you plan to use prior to use around QT. Please note that Visionary powder coats are not designed for high alkaline or highly acidic environments and pure stainless-steel trims must be used in these instances.
