How long are the tails for the strip lights?

Strip lighting comes out of from the factory in a default 5-metre reel. That Reel comes with a 100mm pre-soldered tail to power up that reel. Some customers may need 6 meters for a project. The examples below demonstrate the process depending on the customer's requirement;
1) The Customer is wanting 6 meters as one long strip.
In this instance, there is only one tail which is already on the main 5-meter strip. The extra 1 meter is either soldered onto the 5-meter reel on its end or you can also use a connector that we have for a solderless connection (solder is the most reliable).
2) The customer wants two separate lengths. One at 5m and one at 1m.
In this instance, the customer already has the pre-wired tail on the 5m reel. That leaves the decision as to whether the customer wants us to apply a tail to the extra 1m at a charge of 10$+GST or they may choose to do it themselves.
3) The customer wants two separate lengths 5m + 1M with a tail in between them
In this instance, the customer already has the pre-wired tail on the 5m reel. That leaves the decision as to whether the customer wants us to apply a tail to the extra 1m at a charge of 10$+GST or if they want to do it themselves. We will not solder the tail from the 1m strip to the 5m strip though as it makes packaging very complex. The customer will need to do it themselves. Our scope is only to make connectable 'single strips' with tails.
We can supply the cable to make the tails to the customer at $3/meter.
